Hodaka Combat Wombat

This week my husband didn't buy another bike,  so I am sharing a picture of one of the many gas tanks my husband has collected.

This particular one was a consolation prize after I was outbid on buying the whole bike at an auction. I bid past past his max prize and had to stop. I did get the tank. They guy who beat me out on the bike tried to buy the tank off the me after the auction,  but I knew I needed to take it home.

If anyone has a Combat Wombat and you're willing to sell it, let me know so he can dry his eyes over the one he missed out on.

This Weeks Bike Buy - 1966 Honda C100

This one is a lot rougher than last week's buy, the 1963 Honda Dream.
Here we have a 1996 Honda C100, in much less than drivable condition.

This one was picked up about 20 minutes from home and it looked much better in the ad.  It's  pretty  junky.

Got "lucky" to be the first caller and was able you talk him down a little  bit.

If it wasn't for duct tape,  this thing would fall apart.  It came with a title though,  a good frame,  and quite a few needed parts,  which made it worthwhile.

1963 Honda Dream

Yesterday my husband Chris brought home another vintage bike. This is a 1963 Honda 300, fully complete and runs.
We currently have 4 motorcycles in the garage and 2 in our sunroom. There are several others in the barn.  Some run, but not all.

Here's another old Honda, a 1965 Honda S90.
He has it sitting on a shelf. I think we picked this one up from some guy who was selling the contents of his garage before moving.
The number plate and Hemet came from an estate auction. I tried to get him a Hodaka, but the price got way above my limits on this is what he got instead. They look good together.
